WHAT IS THRIVE?
Thrive Lonsdale is a non-profit organization that supports the growth of young minds through intentionally loving students and sharing the gospel. Thrive is a structured afterschool program for youth ranging from grades kindergarten to high school.
Over the years, Thrive kids have grown and developed through relationships centered on Christ in a positive atmosphere. Thrive Lonsdale seeks to connect children with deep spiritual, emotional, academic and physical needs with caring adults who have been blessed with abundance in those areas.
Kids attend Thrive with no cost to their family except a $5 fee for "Fun Friday" field trips each week Field trips include activities like visiting the zoo, ice and roller skating, rock climbing, going to the pool and more! If someone is not capable of paying for Fun Friday, they are only asked to volunteer their time in order to pay off the $5 fee.
